What you'll do

  • Write prompts that test AI coding accuracy across ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes, modifiers, and E&M leveling from clinical documentation.
  • Review AI-generated coding output for incorrect or unspecified codes, bad modifiers, missed NCCI edits, and unsupported codes.
  • Identify and rate flaws in AI reasoning on coding assignments.
  • Write correct coding assignments tied to documentation and current guidelines when models fail.
