Our independence

SideHustler is neither the employer nor the recruiter for the jobs listed. We have no say in who gets hired, at what rate, or how interviews are run: all of that is decided by Mercor, micro1, Turing, Ethos, Mindrift, DataAnnotation, Alignerr, Handshake AI, Surge AI, xAI, Vetto and Terac or any other platform we list.

How we make money

When we hold a personal referral link for a platform that is active and compliant with its current terms, using it to apply may earn us a fee if you are selected and meet that platform's conditions. Browsing the jobs stays free in every case.

Whether a referral link exists or not never affects the order or the content of a listing. The default order is by date, and sorting by pay uses the amounts published by the platform. We do not touch either for commercial reasons.

A direct link without referral is always offered next to any apply button that could earn us a fee.

Known limits of referral programs

• Mercor: a referral link counts at most 100 sign-ups or applications in a rolling 30-day window, across all links on our account. Beyond that, extra sign-ups are simply not attributed to us. Nothing changes for you.
• If you already have an account with a platform, or were referred by someone else, the referral may not be attributed to us and you would not see it. We can never guarantee that a given click will earn us anything.
• No bonus is shared with you, and we guarantee no hire.

Where things stand

Referral links are active on Mercor, Ethos and micro1 jobs since October 2026. Jobs from every other platform go through the platform's official direct link. Every referral link is labeled next to the apply button, with a direct link beside it.

micro1 gives us a single referral link to its list of open roles, not one link per job. On a micro1 job, the apply button therefore opens that list, and we tell you which role to search for. The direct link to the exact job, without referral, is always offered next to it.
