About this job

This role asks design engineers to build realistic CAD, PCB and 3D tasks that test how well AI models handle real engineering work. Each task combines a prompt, input design files and an automated grader, then gets run against frontier models and refined until it is fair and challenging. It suits experienced designers who also write Python and are comfortable with the command line and Git.

What you'll do

  • Design realistic engineering problems with a prompt, input files and an automated grader.
  • Run each task against frontier models and read their transcripts to close shortcuts.
  • Pass automated QA and peer review, and document the rationale behind any synthetic data.
  • Attend onboarding and calibration sessions.
