About this job

This contract role is for an aerodynamics specialist who will build, run and check computational fluid dynamics cases as part of an AI training project. The work is carried out through scripts and command-line tools, with Python used to automate preprocessing, simulations and validation. It suits engineers with a master's or doctorate in aerospace or mechanical engineering who have a fluid dynamics or aerodynamics focus.

What you'll do

  • Solve and validate aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics problems.
  • Translate physical requirements into solver-ready computational models.
  • Set up geometries, computational domains, meshes, boundary conditions and solver settings.
  • Use Python to automate simulation runs, parameter sweeps, postprocessing and validation.

Requirements

PythonAerodynamics
  • MSc or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, or in Mechanical Engineering with an aerodynamics, fluid dynamics or thermofluids specialization
  • BS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering plus at least 1-2 years of aero-specific professional or research experience
