About this job

This remote contract role asks NDT specialists to review laser shearography data and aerospace composite inspection records, then write detailed assessments that help train AI systems. It is aimed at inspection experts whose domain knowledge matters more than any prior AI background. All analysis must be done manually, without AI tools.

What you'll do

  • Analyze laser shearography fringe patterns and interferograms to identify and characterize composite defects.
  • Review technical case papers, test logs and inspection limits against NDT standards for aerospace use.
  • Evaluate defect types, severity and potential impact on composite structures, with written rationale.
  • Deliver written feedback on inspection findings to support refinement of technical protocols.
