About this job

This is a remote, hourly contract for physics graduates and current Masters students who want to help train and evaluate advanced AI models. The work is writing physics problems, solving them step by step, and judging whether AI-generated answers are scientifically accurate and well reasoned.

What you'll do

  • Design rigorous physics problems in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum physics to test AI reasoning.
  • Write clear, step-by-step solutions with well-structured logical frameworks.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, depth of reasoning, and quality.
  • Provide structured feedback to help improve AI model performance.

This ongoing project hires advanced STEM experts to write graduate-level and PhD-level problems with exact, verifiable answers, helping AI systems improve at rigorous scientific reasoning. Participants create original problems in their own specialty, write detailed step-by-step solutions, and sometimes review AI-generated answers to find reasoning errors. It is aimed at PhD candidates and holders, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and selected engineering fields.
