About this job

This remote contract role asks hardware engineers to write self-contained engineering problems based on realistic industry or research scenarios, then produce reference solutions that others can verify independently. It is aimed at experienced engineers who have taken a system to production, validated a model against physical tests, or diagnosed a difficult failure.

What you'll do

  • Create technically rigorous, self-contained hardware engineering problems.
  • Develop clear reference solutions using calculations, simulations, scripts, or experimental reasoning.
  • Validate results with tools such as Python, MATLAB, Simulink, or SPICE when relevant.
