About this job

This contract role asks experienced claims investigators and forensic reviewers to examine digital claim evidence such as surveillance and dashcam footage, scene photos, statements, and engineering reports to judge whether losses are genuine or staged. The work also involves writing clear, reasoned assessments for fraud investigators and forensic engineers, which will be used to train AI systems. It suits remote professionals with deep experience in special investigations, insurance fraud, or forensic engineering, and no prior AI experience is needed.

What you'll do

  • Analyze digital claim evidence, including footage, photos, statements, and engineering reports, to spot signs of fraud or staging.
  • Reconstruct accident or loss events from visual and documented materials to clarify causation and authenticity.
  • Write detailed assessments for SIU investigators or forensic engineers that explain the reasoning behind each determination.
  • Identify patterns and anomalies that may point to organized fraud and share best practices from investigations.
