About this job

A drug discovery scientist will design realistic preclinical tasks and evaluate how well frontier AI models perform them, grading responses against professional standards. The role involves creating scenarios based on real workflows, running them through AI systems, and providing detailed feedback on whether the models correctly conduct SAR analysis, DMPK interpretation, screening triage, and other core discovery work.

What you'll do

  • Design realistic discovery tasks with scenarios, prompts, and supporting files (assay tables, SAR data, DMPK summaries, study reports).
  • Run tasks through frontier AI agents and grade deliverables (decision memos, screening workbooks, toxicology summaries) against professional standards.
  • Write clear grading rubrics explaining why responses pass or fail, with evidence of specific errors such as misread data, unsupported conclusions, or missed liabilities.
  • Flag concrete failures in assay interpretation, SAR reasoning, PK parameter analysis, unit conversions, or safety liability detection.

Requirements

LLM
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Master's degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or related field
  • PhD in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or related field
