About this job

This fully remote role asks senior chemists to shape how frontier AI models reason about research-level chemistry. The work centers on reviewing chemistry tasks and model outputs, writing reference solutions, and designing benchmarks that show whether models are truly improving. It is aimed at practicing specialists with a PhD and a senior research position.

What you'll do

  • Review chemistry tasks and model outputs for mechanistic, stoichiometric and thermodynamic errors.
  • Write precise problem statements and rigorous reference solutions.
  • Design challenging research-level benchmarks and evaluation sets in your specialty.
  • Turn tacit expert judgment into explicit, teachable criteria with other researchers.

Requirements
